dagger
cut me all the way to my bones
cut me all the way to my bones,
and don’t stop there,
dig your dagger all the way to my soul,
and let the black bleed of my wicked vitality.
dig it deeper,
till you feel the monsters on your blade,
who reside in me,
they drink tears with pleasure,
they take my brain away.
dig your dagger deeper,
twist it, better
make me suffer, make me ache,
i am dying by the things i don’t speak,
watch me crave for the life i always hated,
and take pleasure in my longing,
and when i don’t have life left in me,
do not care to bury me,
let the flowers grow,
from my rotting body,
i will be in them,
watching the world,
until i am again left with thorns.

VI. oh my god. each time i read one of ur poems, im like — this is so well written & what i exactly feel deep in my bones and soul. ur such a talented writer, so please keep using those magnificent words. <3 also the monster thing reminded me of the quote: “am i a monster or this is what it means to be a person?”. i truly do believe most of us feel that way. we all have our thorns, driving people away.
and please. “i am dying by the things i don’t speak”. hello? vi. is it better to speak or to die?
Reminds of someone and it aches my heart but I don't mind that. Love it <3
